Bishop Ramsey is proud to celebrate the success of our Year 13 Mathematics Team in the international Ritangle 2025 competition, which launched on 8th Ocotber and attracted mathematicians from across the globe.
Ritangle 2025 ran over a ten-week period and challenged participants with a series of demanding mathematical problems designed to test logical reasoning, creativity, and perseverance. This year saw an exceptional level of participation, with 1,854 teams from twenty-three countries competing for the title of Ritangle 2025 Champions.
Bishop Ramsey was represented by a single team of four students: Sebastian (Team Captain), Daniel (Co-Team Captain), Jeshan and Wiktor.
The competition was divided into three increasingly challenging stages, each of which had to be unlocked through sustained problem-solving and deep mathematical thinking. Of all teams worldwide, only 454 successfully progressed to Stage 3, placing the Bishop Ramsey team among an elite group of high-performing competitors.
This outstanding achievement reflects the students’ dedication, resilience and commitment to excellence in mathematics. The school congratulates the team on their impressive performance and is extremely proud of the hard work and determination they have shown throughout the competition.
