Objectives:

  1. Promote mental wellbeing across the school community, including recognising concerns, learning to look after mental health and where to go for help.
  2. Early identification and intervention for mental health concerns.
  3. Accessible, high-quality support services.
  4. Staff training and development.
  5. Strong partnerships with parents and external agencies.

 

Priorities for 2025-26:

Ensure student voice on mental health is collected in a range of ways.

Increase school awareness of how to look after mental health in different ways, for both students and staff.

Streamline provision, using links with external providers, internal providers and parents, so students always get the most appropriate support.

 

Support Services:

Internal: Access & Inclusion team, Chaplaincy, Pastoral team, Student services

External: Place2Be, Local Authority SEND services, CAMHS referrals, Elevate Education workshops, WeStrive mentoring.
