Chaplaincy

Chaplaincy is a key part of the life at Bishop Ramsey. Everybody is welcome.

The Chaplaincy works around sanctuary, hospitality and community. It is a place where staff and students can find spiritual care, a non-judgemental space to prayer, worship, meet, talk, explore and just be.

The Chaplaincy is led by our Ordained Chaplain, Revd Susy Dand, a youthworker priest, Ms Catherine Wells, Assisstant Headteacher and Mr Malcolm Britton, Interim Headteacher.

The Chaplaincy is enabled and supported by our local clergy and youth workers:

Deputy Head Students and Prefects serve as Chaplaincy leaders, co-ordinating initiatives at student level across the school. We appoint Sixth Form students into senior chaplaincy roles each year and they form an integral part of the chaplaincy leadership.
