It was fantastic seeing Bishop Ramsey students celebrate excellent GCSE exam results this summer. Despite the return to a pre-pandemic grading system, Bishop Ramsey students achieved a higher average attainment score than last year or indeed 2019, the most recent years where public examinations were sat nationally.
This year 70% of our students have been awarded a grade 5 or above in 5 or more of their subjects and nearly 50% achieved a grade 7 or above in at least three subjects. 64% achieved a grade 5 or higher in both mathematics and English and 82% were awarded a grade 4 or higher in both mathematics and English. With the majority of our students choosing to return to continue their studies in our Sixth Form, we look forward to welcoming them back in September.
