Year 7 and 8 Chaplaincy Trips to Woodrow High House

Over four days in September and October, we took Year 7 and 8 students on day trips to Woodrow High House in Amersham. The activities that they took part in included team building, individual challenges, chapel sessions in the middle of the day and each day finished with a campfire.
The students embraced the day–putting themselves out of their comfort zone through doing High Ropes or learning new skills in the bushcraft sessions. They also had to work together as teams on the low ropes and had to use superb communication skills on the Nightline – where they had to navigate an obstacle course whilst blindfolded.
The day was loved by all, and many students asked if they would have the opportunity to go again! Plans are already underway to take students next year.
