    Retirement of Mr Lunnon

Mr Lunnon will be retiring at the end of this academic year after a long and distinguished career in teaching and school leadership spent entirely at Bishop Ramsey.

Mr Lunnon joined the school as a newly qualified teacher of Physical Education in September 1979. He has, by turns, served as Second in Physical Education, Head of Year, Head of Lower School, Head of Key Stage 3, Senior Assistant Headteacher and, most recently, Acting Deputy Headteacher. His contribution to the school has been immense.

I am aware that many parents will have fond memories of Mr Lunnon as their teacher. I have been hugely grateful for his wisdom, enthusiasm and hard work during the time we have shared at the school. Always thinking of the future of the school, Mr Lunnon has this year, in addition to his formal duties, coached our new Year Directors, giving them the benefit of his pastoral skill and judgement.

Bishop Ramsey School will miss Mr Lunnon greatly. I am sure you will want to join me in wishing him a long and happy retirement.
