Eleven Year 9 students have spent the year representing Bishop Ramsey on a KS3 Engagement Programme every Thursday at Uxbridge College.
The programme is attended by six schools across Hillingdon Borough. The Programme consists of a carousel of vocational courses: Motor Vehicles, Hair & Beauty, Health & Social Care, Catering, Sport and Business. Every half term students study one of the 6 courses in their morning session and during the afternoon they complete a portfolio to support the underpinning knowledge for the Prince’s Trust Award. All eleven BR students achieved the Level 1 Prince’s Trust Award in Personal Development & Teamwork Skills. Mr Marjanov, an LSA at BR attends college every week with the students and his continued support and encouragement has allowed the students to grow with their academic and personal development.
