    Olan Adebayo

    Olan is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner with over 15 years of health, safety and environmental management experience in national and global organisations.  His specialities are Policy and Strategy, Management Systems, Safety Culture, Business Continuity & Emergency Planning, Loss Prevention, Accident Investigation, Sustainable Development and Auditing.  Before joining Veritas Educational Trust, he was also a governor at Dr. Triplett's Primary School in Hayes and currently a Trustee at Red Balloon Learner Centre (North London).  He also works as a freelance NEBOSH Examiner.

     

    Carey-Anne Betson

    Carey-Anne is a Parent Trustee. She is a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Warrender Primary School where she has worked for over 10 years. Carey-Anne has also previously been Chair of Governors at both Whiteheath Infant & Whiteheath Junior Schools. Carey-Anne is one of two Trustee’s with lead responsibility for safeguarding and she also chairs the Trust’s School and Community Committee.

    Pauline Byles

    Pauline has over forty-five years teaching experience, mainly at primary level.  She is currently the Associate Headteacher at Dr Triplett’s Church of England Primary in Hayes.  She has expertise in supporting children with Special Educational Needs as an experienced SENCO and particular expertise in both safeguarding and developing the Christian ethos of faith schools.  Pauline chairs the Trust’s Admissions Committee.

    Fr Matthew Cashmore

    Fr Matthew is the Parish Priest of St. Anselm in Hayes.  Before ordination he was on the board of Blackwell's as Digital Director.  He has held senior operations and research and development roles within the BBC, Lonely Planet and Hachette.  He is a Trustee of SPCK and continues to offer digital and r&d consultancy to small businesses and charities

    Anne Chappell

    Dr Anne Chappell is Head of the Department of Education at Brunel University London.  Anne worked in five secondary schools in London and the South East prior to joining the Initial Teacher Education at Brunel over 17 years ago.  She has recent experience of school governance.  Anne is committed to quality educational experiences for children and young people, and support for those that work with them.

    Jonathan Chu

    Jonathan is a management consultant at Bain & Company, with experience in business strategy, transformation and due diligence. Prior to that, he was an investment banker at Lazard specialised in mergers and acquisitions. Before joining Veritas Educational Trust, he was also a governor at a primary school in Southwark. Jonathan is a member of the Trust’s Finance, Resources and Audit Committee. 

    Helen Dimmock

    Helen is a civil servant with over thirty years leadership experience in a range of disciplines including operational delivery, project management, policy and strategy development. She is currently the Crown Ecclesiastical Secretary and Head of Lord Lieutenancy Policy in the Cabinet Office. She is Chair of Governors at Dr Triplett’s Church of England Primary School in Hayes where she has been a governor since 2000. She was awarded the MBE in the 2015 Queen’s Birthday Honours List. Helen is Chair of Trustees and a member of all the Trust’s committees.

    Ingrid Farmer

    Ingrid is an International Relations and Planning Manager at the Institution of Civil Engineers with a background in modern foreign languages, project management and international strategy. Prior to that, she was Head of Policy Operations at the Institute of Directors and worked in investment banking with experience in corporate finance and private wealth management.

    Ingrid was previously Deanery Governor at St Andrew's CE Primary School in Uxbridge where she was Vice Chair of Governors and Chair of the Resources Committee. She was also Community Governor at Whitehall Infant School in Uxbridge where she was a member of the Curriculum & Standards Committee.

    Ian was elected as a London Borough of Hillingdon Councillor for Eastcote and East Ruislip ward in 2018, having previously been a Councillor in Yiewsley. He is currently Chair of the Social Care, Housing and Public Health Scrutiny Committee.  Ian represents the Council on the Friends of Eastcote House Gardens Management Advisory Group, the Ruislip Woods Management Advisory Group and the South West  Middlesex Crematorium Board. He is also trustee of Age UK Hillingdon, Harrow & Brent and Chairman of H4All. Ian was a member of the Metropolitan Police for thirty-one years, retiring as Borough Commander of Richmond in 2007. Ian is a member of Veritas’ School and Community Committee

    Rebecca Garton

    Rebecca is an experienced primary teacher and is currently employed at St Helen’s school in Northwood.  She was previously the Vice Chair of Governors at Frithwood Primary School.  Rebecca utilises her extensive practical knowledge and experience to chair the Trust’s Learning, Teaching and Achievement Committee and is Vice Chair of the Trust.

     

     

    Bola Ogbe

    Bola is a Member of the Chartered institute of Management Accountants and has worked in several Housing associations for 11 years leading on business planning ensuring there are enough funds available to meet development needs.  He previously worked in the commercial sector for 20 years in various financial roles leading on business transformation and cost reduction. Bola is a member of the Trust’s Finance, Resources and Audit Committee.

    Fola Sanu

    Fola is a member of the Chartered Governance Institute.  She is the Company Secretary at The Economist Educational Foundation and Assistant Group Secretary at The Economist Group.  She has extensive corporate law and governance experience having previously worked for several years in West End media law firms where she headed the company secretarial and governance departments.  Fola is a volunteer for Inspiring the Future. She has a keen interest in education and is passionate about children’s literacy.

    Svetla Taneva

    Svetla is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Accountants. She worked as a financial professional in various training and educational institutions for Higher and Further Education for 14 years. She has a previous governance experience in primary education. Svetla is acting as a voluntary ambassador in promoting the merits of the ACCA qualification.

    She is passionate about education in all of its shapes and forms and is a supporter of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion policies.

    Svetla is a member of the Trust’s Finance, Resources and Audit Committee and the Pay Appeal Committee.

    Liz has been a teacher in both the state and independent sectors for the past thirty-six years and is currently a Headteacher in the Berkhamsted Schools Group. She uses her experience and expertise as a Trustee to advise on educational matters, regulatory requirements and safeguarding

    Alison has been the Treasurer at the TSB Bank PLC since December 2012.  She was previously a Chief Operating Officer for the Lloyds Banking Group and is a Member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.  Alison chairs the Trust’s Finance, Resources and Audit Committee.

    Susan Vale

    Sue has a wealth of education experience. She has been in education for over 30 years, which has included headship and school inspection work. She currently works as an education consultant specialising in safeguarding. Sue is one of two trustees with lead responsibility for safeguarding. 

    Andrew is the CEO and Chief Accounting Officer for Veritas.  He was previously the Headteacher at Bishop Ramsey where he led the school to achieving its Outstanding Ofsted judgements and successful bids to become a Teaching School, a World Class School and a School Centred Initial Teacher Training Centre. Andrew is a National Leader of Education and is also a governor of Berkhamsted School and vice-chair of governors of St Andrew’s CE Primary School, Uxbridge.

     

    Amar Jobanputra

    Amar is a Financial Accountant at Pension Insurance Corporation, with experience in external reporting, regulatory returns and internal reporting to the Board.

    Amar is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Accountants, with over a decade of experience.

    This is his first governance role, and he is looking forward to adding value to the Veritas Educational Trust.

    Amar is a member of the Finance, Resources and Audit Committee.
