    Sixth Form

Welcome to the Sixth Form area of our website where you can find information for both current Sixth Form students and for prospective students.

The Sixth Form at Bishop Ramsey is a vibrant, supportive environment where students who have high aspirations thrive and succeed. The majority of our students go on to University or Higher Apprenticeships. Our superb results mean you would be joining an ever growing Sixth Form with a fantastic track record of success. Over 100 students went off to University this summer with a third of those being Russell Group. Courses chosen range from Physiotherapy to Astrophysics, Criminology to Egyptology, Natural Hazard Management to Midwifery, Mechanical Engineering to Musical Theatre as well as the 'traditional' subject areas.

Whatever your goals we pride ourselves in ensuring that you are well monitored and supported both academically and pastorally. We have a strong ethos of enrichment offering opportunities to all through conferences, workshops and invited speakers.

We have a special programme to support students applying to Oxbridge and offer extensive additional help to those applying to Medicine/Veterinary/Dentistry etc.

Students have the use of  the Hub, our bright and airy cafe, during designated private study periods, as well as use of the dedicated Sixth Form study areas and Library. Wherever you are in the School you will have wireless access to our computer network on your laptop.

It is very important to us that you choose the right courses so the Prospectus has further details of each subject. There is also an enrolment surgery in August where we are happy to discuss options further once the GCSE results are out.

Please note that although we are a Church School, our Sixth Form is open to students of all backgrounds and faiths.
