Alumni

    Alumni

Calling all past students of Bishop Ramsey or either of its two predecessor schools

Ruislip Manor Secondary School, (the 'Manor' school)
    (1926 - 1977)

    and

St Martin's C of E Secondary School in Yiewsley
    (1958 - 1977)

Bishop Ramsey has set up an Alumni network to enable us to keep in contact with our former students and those of our predecessor schools, as above.  Bishop Ramsey was formed in 1977 when these 2 schools joined together on the Ruislip Manor Secondary School site.   We'd love to hear from you if you used to attend any of these schools!   There's lots of ways to get in touch which you can read about below including via our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/bishopramseyalumni/

We held our first Alumni event on Saturday 25th June, 2016 which was a great success with lots of past pupils and staff attending and we were very fortunate that amongst the past pupils was one of our most well known alumnae, Natasha Baker, the double Paralympian gold medallist in London 2012.  Everyone had the chance to look through old yearbooks, photos and other memorabilia in addition of course to catching up with events over the intervening years.

We haven't got any more events planned at the moment but when we do they'll appear here and on our Facebook page so keep a look out!  In the meantime you can find more information about the Alumni, how to join etc below.
We'd love you to join our ever growing Alumni network so please get in touch.

Why should I sign up to the BR Alumni network?

Signing up to the BR Alumni network is a great way to stay in touch with what’s going on at the school now and with fellow students after they leave.

As an Alumnus you can also play a great part in helping and inspiring current students by coming back to visit the school to speak about your career paths and achievements or get involved in school events or by posting your story or news on the school website.

Lots of former students are part of the network already but we would love to hear from more of you and find out about what you're doing now and hear about your memories of school.

Signing up and being part of the network is completely free and there’s no obligation for students to do anything after they’ve signed up but members will receive a few updates with what's been happening at the School and news about opportunities they might like to get involved in.

We're really keen to sign up current leavers as well as former students  who may have left some time ago.

    How does it work?

We are working in partnership with a charity called Future First, who will help us stay connected with our former students.  Future First collects your contact information and uses it to allow us to stay in touch. Your contact details won't be used by anyone else - you’ll just get the odd text or email so you’re still connected to your school and your teachers are up to date with where you are and what you’re doing.

You can find out more about Future First and Alumni Associations on the Future First website by clicking  here.

    How do I join?

If you are a school leaver, please sign up here.    If you are a former student, please sign up here.

You can get in touch with us directly at the school by emailing us at alumni@bishopramsey.school
