    Bishop Ramsey Celebrates Outstanding Exam Success

    Bishop Ramsey students achieved superbly in this years A Levels.

    Bishop Ramsey students achieved superbly in this years A Levels, with 12 students gaining at least 3 As and a further 12 gaining at least 2 A* and a B. This means that they have been successful in getting onto top courses at the best universities.

    Deputy Head Girl, Amelia Bowman led the pack by getting 3 A* and an A and is going on to read Medicine at Hertford College, Oxford.  Alfie Johnson achieved 3 A* and will be reading Maths at Warwick. He will be joined there by Astrid Ball who achieved A* A A and will be studying Politics. Head Boy, Lee Massingham achieved A* A B and has chosen not to go to University and instead has been selected to train as a pilot with Easy Jet. His Deputy, Iwan Day-Haynes who achieved A* A A B grades will be going to Durham to read for a degree in Natural Sciences.

    While Iwan and Astrid have been at Bishop Ramsey since Year 7, Alfie, Lee and Amelia joined the school in the Sixth Form.

    Headteacher, Andrew Wilcock said, 'I am delighted with the results achieved by our students this year, a true reflection of the hard work and effort put in by both students and the staff that have worked alongside them.'
